The Best Care for your Best Friend

For more than 25 years, the Arthur Ashe Children’s Program (AACP) has brought high-quality tennis, academics, and life-skills support directly to students in grades 1–8 across DC public and public charter schools. Through game-based learning and certified coaching, students build confidence on the court and in the classroom.

AACP operates four days a week for two hours after school throughout the academic year. In addition to homework support with a snack provided, students prepare for structured academic and tennis competitions with other AACP partner schools – building teamwork, resilience, and a love of learning. Academic competitions include a trivia bowl, public speaking competition, and a spelling bee.
