For 70 years, the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation (WTEF) has helped young people unlock their potential through tennis, education, and ongoing life-skills development. As we approach our 75th anniversary, we are focused on expanding access so even more students and families across Washington, DC can benefit from our programs.
In October 2025, WTEF partnered with Third Plateau to developed a five-year strategic plan shaped by the voices of our staff, board, families, students, and community partners. Together, we set a shared vision for WTEF’s future, building on our strengths and aspiring to an even brighter future.

With this plan as our guide, we’re calling on our community to help us write WTEF’s next chapter so we can reach more students, inspire lifelong leaders, and ensure every child in DC has access to opportunity through tennis and education.
